Today I had the pleasure of addressing the Wokingham Borough Council Fit For Business event.

Speaking to representatives of businesses from across the borough and from a multitude of industries I talked about the journey we are on towards achieving Carbon Neutral by 2030 and the role businesses can play in helping achieve that. I also used some of the ideas we received from the Climate Emergency Consultation to bring to life some of the steps that our businesses can take themselves to reducing their carbon footprint, control their energy costs and increase their recycling.

I am an elected Wokingham Borough Councillor. I have represented the Norreys Ward for the Conservative party since May 2019. Currently also serving as Executive Member for Climate Emergency. I moved to Wokingham in 2016 with my young family, and I am hugely passionate about making Wokingham one of the best places in Britain to live, for my children and for all our residents.
