A lot has changed as a result of Covid. In January the concept of virtual Council and Executive meetings just wasn’t an option.
Tonight we held our second virtual Executive meeting and, other than a few broadband issues it seemed to work reasonably well.
Personally, i like the paperless meetings, doing meeting from the comfort of my home office and also, from a Climate perspective, we are not having 10 Executive members, various other Council members, officers and residents commuting to the Council offices specifically for one meeting.
Change has happened. I will be working to make sure that, as much as possible, we don’t go back to the old ways of working.
