Next time you are going down London Road in and out of Wokingham, take a look at the curb-stones.

The new ones that are being laid as part of the cycle lane upgrade are made of recycled plastic. Not only is this a fantastic use of an otherwise rubbish item, it also means that if they get broken, they can be easily replaced and remoulded.

I also believe that the old cement ones are going to be taken away, ground down and reused as aggregate.

A fantastic, forward looking, climate friendly initiative brought forward by your Conservative-led Wokingham Borough Council.
