This evening I had the pleasure of speaking to a meeting of Finchampstead Parish Council.

I was given time to talk about Climate Emergency, Wokingham Borough Council’s action plan, steps that Finchampstead Parish Council and it’s individual members can take to help cut our carbon footprint and combat climate change. I also answered some questions on planting and maintaining trees, allotments, single use plastics, generating ideas and encouraging active transport.

I am an elected Wokingham Borough Councillor. I have represented the Norreys Ward for the Conservative party since May 2019. Currently also serving as Executive Member for Climate Emergency. I moved to Wokingham in 2016 with my young family, and I am hugely passionate about making Wokingham one of the best places in Britain to live, for my children and for all our residents.
