Order and collect blue bin bags and garden sacks

I don’t know about you, but in my house we have been having a bit of a clear out this year. As a result we’ve been recycling a lot more and have also used a few more blue bags than normal. As a result we have run out. Fortunately Wokingham Borough Council has recognised this might be the case for a few households and, even during this currently lockdown, have put in place measures to ensure that we can all get more blue bags if we need them.

A number of locations across the borough are being opened on a temporary basis to ensure residents can get the essential waste and recycling items they need.

The Shute End office in Wokingham, along with Woodley and Lower Earley libraries have been reopened to provide these items only – other services will not be available.

If you need blue bin bags or garden waste sacks you need to purchase them online and then take your receipt with you to collect.

Food waste liners, indoor caddies and outdoor caddies can also be collected, but there’s no need to pre-order as these are free of charge.
